Due to the COVID-19 situation, the ADCC Board has decided to defer its ADCC College Scholarship program until 2021. Because of that deferment, any 2020 or 2021 high school graduate may apply to the scholarship program in 2021. Thank you to all potential applicants, for your interest in our Scholarship program and your patience.
A core component of the ADCC’s mission has been to support excellence by providing College Scholarships for outstanding young dancers.
Each year, The ADCC receives dozens of applications, and currently awards up to 5 scholarships annually. Since 2014, The ADCC has awarded $62,800 in College Scholarships to high school seniors who have competed in at least two ADCC Member competitions.
For 2021: Any 2020 or 2021 graduating high school senior who has been accepted into a dance or dance-related program at a four-year accredited college or university for the 2021 school year, and who has competed in at least 2 ADCC Member competition events during the 2019, 2020, or 2021 seasons, will be eligible to apply.
Applications should be submitted online—the 2021 Scholarship application form will be posted online and available when the Scholarship program resumes in mid-2021.
Applying is easy. Students just complete an online application form, and provide attachments including a personal essay, a high school transcript, and a headshot.
